This is open for anyone to participate, members and non-members. Culture has a loud voice on the meaning of Christmas; ee want to keep Jesus and the hope we have in him at the center. Our hope for this event, is to share this gift with our neighbors as we continue to build relationships in the area and pray specifically and corporately for its well-being!

As a church we believe that there is no more important, strategic or effective thing we can do than pray. We believe God responds to prayer and we need God to work in the life of our church for us to be dependent, united and actively engaging the community around us. 24 hour prayer is a chance for us all to set specific time aside to ask God to work on behalf of Grace City. We desire for all of our members to participate in this as a way to serve our church and as a way to challenge us all to grow spiritually. We believe praying consistently for an hour will be a challenge for most involved and we believe the Holy Spirit will move on behalf of our prayers.

May is AAPI Heritage Month! We have the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the contributions and achievements of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to American culture, and for us as Christians, contributions to the global church. We also recognize the barrier that can exist within our context in Charleston. Asian and Pacific Islander Americans make up only 2% of our population in our city, which could lead to being overlooked, misunderstood, and misrepresented. We hope that as a church, we can be intentional during this month to engage and learn some of the history, culture, stories, and experiences of this community so that we can be more equipped to love and care for our brothers and sisters of American and Pacific Islander descent. This is the type of unity that we strive for, where people of diverse backgrounds and experiences can be engaged fully, without sacrificing or minimizing core aspects of their identity.
We hope that you join us for our AAPI Panel: Exploring Identity & Heritage on Sunday, May 19th, at 1:30 PM, right after the second service.

At the end, each guest will receive a grocery bag to go home with, filled with items to make their own dinner on Thanksgiving Day. If you won't be here, you can drop them off at Radiant Church offices.

In MLK's famous speech "I've been to the mountaintop" he describes the "mountaintop" as the place he can peer over to see a better reality. That reality was one of justice and equity for black and brown people. We pray this worship night is a chance for us to peer into a future reality of all nations, tribes, peoples and tongues worshiping together in unity, equity, and justice. We want Charleston to experience worshiping with people from diverse backgrounds, ages, ethnicities and economic statuses, because that is what our eternal home will be like.
This night is for our Charleston community and we are hoping you'll choose to come alongside us to worship.

The Mosaic is an 8 week class hosted by Grace City Church. The US and the church both have an ugly history with racism, prejudice and injustices, and the church has not always done a good job of acknowledging this reality and being aware of how our past still very much affects our present reality. We believe that Jesus is the solution and that the church should be at the forefront of bringing about racial reconciliation and healing in its community. Our hope for this class is to educate people on our history, look at what the Bible says about this topic, and equip and facilitate meaningful conversations that will lead people of all ethnic backgrounds towards healing and biblical unity in their spheres of influence. We will do this through topical teaching on theology and history as well as space for discussion.
We will meet on Wednesday evenings starting June 14th from 7:00-9:00 PM at Radiant Church (4870 Piedmont Avenue). The cost to participate will be $25. If this fee hinders you in anyway from participating, please reach out to us at hello@thegracecity.com as we do not want anything to keep you from participating.]

We are excited for an upcoming event to care for all the medical professions & students who are a part of our church. We recognize that the work you are doing professionally, or are in school to one day do is hard work and can feel isolating as a believer. We want to create a space to celebrate & feed you, pray for you, and connect you to each other. On Sunday, at 6pm at Radiant Church we're having a Medical Support Supper. If you're in a medical profession, medical school (including dental, nursing, PA, etc) then you & your spouse are invited to join us for this time. RSVP on the website so we can have enough food for dinner. We hope to see you there! If you have any questions, reach out to Sarah Wills (swills@thegracecity.com).

One of our members, Liv Gilliam, is on mission in Belize. Both our church and various members have been supporting her financially and through prayer over the past year and a half. Per her request, we are planning a short-term mission in April to partner with and support her in the local ministry there, and we need a team of 10-12 people! We will be partnering with them in organizing and putting on a youth retreat for students in the village, specifically diving into the topics of identity, sexuality, and worship. We will also be assisting their staff in canvasing, assessing needs, praying for and continuing to build connections within their community.
One of our desires, outside of supporting and caring for our sister, is for this to be an opportunity for us to grow in what it looks like for the local church to understand it's calling to participate in missions and obey the Great Commission. As the local church, we desire to glorify God by proclaiming Christ, making disciples of Jesus both in our spheres of influence locally and globally, seeking to establish and strengthen the local church.

You’re invited to our 2023 Nehemiah Action! Here, thousands of Charleston-area residents gather under the banner of CAJM to meet with our public officials and secure public commitments to initiate a process to both implement and evaluate the identified best practices.
Join us at 7:00 PM on Monday, March 20th, at the Mt. Moriah at 7396 Rivers Ave in North Charleston, SC.
Discovery is the first step in understanding who we are at Grace City. Come and meet some of our staff and leadership and hear a brief overview of our fundamental doctrines. This is a great first step in seeing if our family is the right fit for you!
We want to invite all of our parents who are members to an event coming up called "Parents Night Out" on March 10th from 6:00-8:30 PM. We want to provide free childcare for a night while you get to go on a date with your spouse. Parenting is hard and as a church, we want to partner with our parents. And we believe pouring into marriages is a significant way to do that. The one thing we will ask is that you ask 2-3 good questions on your date in hopes that it will build intimacy. We will provide those questions for you when you drop your kids off.
As a church, we have been in our sermon series Reconcilers, exploring our value of Engage. We are excited to launch an launching a 7-week study called The One, where we will continue to discuss ways we practically Engage the people and culture around us. We will start on March 9th, so sign up below if you will be joining us!
